The quality of silence, of listening. Opening the senses to nature’s voice. The goal of the workshop is not strictly theatrical, so much as one’s interior cosmos, reflecting the exterior, and freeing one’s creativity. We will encounter many techniques of martial arts, such as Tai Chi, Chi Kung, Silat, Tongkat, Kodo, Archery, as well as maskwork, ethnic song, the body which searches creative stimuli in the movement of animals and other Balinese practices.
Much work is done outside, reflecting natural cycles and elements.

Tapa Sudana (Bali), collaborated for many years with Peter Brook. He participated in many shows, including “The Conference of the Birds”, “Carmen”, “Mahabarata”, being responsible for the actors’ training as well as set design.
