ART OF THE ACTOR
This is a longer course for adults, in which participants learn
techniques of improvisation, movement, voice and clowning, as well
as perceptual work in nature, in order to present an open-air itinerant
show in the “Teatri di Terra” festival.
Led by Robert McNeer, this course is open to actors and non-actors
alike (participants ages have ranged from 16 to 69), and is occasionally
punctuated by work with visiting artists (in past years, César
Brie, Germana Giannini, Alessandro Fiorello, and others).
The
course meets at La Luna nel Pozzo
from October to July,
every Tuesday and Thursday evening,
From 7.30 to 10 p.m.
Past productions have included:
Ionesco’s “Macbet”
Shakespeare’s “Pericles”
“Ti Ho Sognato” (from “Midsummer
Night’s dream”)
“Who Knocks?” (from ‘Everyman’)
Homer’s “Odyssey”
Ovid’s “Metamorphoses”
