La
Luna nel Pozzo is a cultural centre set in the beautiful
Puglian hills outside of Ostuni, in the Italian province of Brindisi.
The name means “the moon in the well”,
which conveys our hope for a cultural oasis – a place where
you will find sustenance and delight in the graceful, shimmering
and playful reflections of the moon (click on our logo above
and you’ll see).
Created in 1999, this centre was born when two actors - Robert
McNeer and Pia Wachter - after 15 years of touring Europe with
Teatro Kismet of Bari, recognized here the magic of this place.
Workshops at “La Luna nel Pozzo”
La Luna hosts both extended courses (Art of the Actor,
Hatha Yoga) as well as intensive residential workshops
